It is a tradition of Biandhura Temple, located amidst the dense forests of Senapani range bordering the districts of Champawat, Nainital and Udhamsingh Nagar, is on a high peak 35 km from the road. The deity enshrined in this temple is called Aidi Devta.

Historians say that this historical site, besides the Mahabharata period, was also visited by external invaders in Mughal and Hunakal, but these invaders could not move beyond the peak to the mountains due to the miraculous power of the Byndhura region. How ancient this temple is, it has not been confirmed yet, but by looking at the pile of bow and arrow, etc. located in the temple premises, it can be inferred that this temple of the god Adi is an ancient mythological temple.
