In Rishikesh, Kotwali police registered a case against BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj, his public relations officer Amitesh Singh alias Nandu, manager of Shri Bhagwan Bhavan Mahesh Chandra Mishra and 47 unidentified people for violation of Disaster Management Act and Section-144. The Kotwali police have taken this action on the instructions of Rishikesh Vidhan Sabha’s Returning Officer and SDM Dr. Apoorva Pandey. Police are identifying unknown people from the photos and videos taken during the program.
